Rule 343 – Order in which actions are to be dealt with
  1. The Court shall deal with the actions before it in the order in which they become ready for hearing in accordance with Rule 108.
  2. The presiding judge of a panel may, after hearing the parties [Rule 264]:
    1. direct that a particular action be given priority and that time limits provided for in these Rules be shortened;
    2. defer an action to be dealt with later, in particular with a view to facilitating an amicable settlement of the dispute.
